THIRD Ishigaki

I wasn't expecting the meals to stand out, since I've had plenty of hotel food, but breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious. We booked the all-inclusive package and had a great time. The room was large with a lovely water view. We were on the sixth floor, in case that matters. The service was great as well.

We stayed four nights in a sixth-floor room with a sauna. Breakfast was soooo good. I loved the grilled spam and egg onigiri, and the mango toast!

The bed was clean and comfortable, and the location is great. Laundry is free and they provide soap, which is nice, but the clothes had a strange, off-putting smell afterward that's hard to describe. The room is large, though there's not much usable space. There wasn't a proper desk or a big sofa where we could put our things after unpacking. The elevator stops at the second floor every time you go up, which gets annoying. The pillow was very small, and there was only one. The sink and tap in the toilet are so close together that washing your hands comfortably is difficult.

The employees were genuinely nice and professional, and the service was outstanding. The room, though spacious, had a horrible design. The passage to the bed was so narrow that I cut my leg there. The next day I hit my head going to bed because the two upper beds were too low, with no barrier to protect you from hitting the protruding edge. The bathroom step back into the living room is very high, so you could easily fall, especially at night. Even switching the lights next to the bed means using that narrow passage. Breakfast was very poor, just the same five sandwiches each day. For a hotel charging this much, I'd suggest changing a few things to make it feel like a real lifestyle hotel.
