We were unsure at first about sharing the bathrooms and toilets, but there was no need to worry. Both areas were spotless and spacious, and felt as private and comfortable as our own apartment. The outdoor area was lovely and peaceful, with a beach just five minutes away on foot. Masaru welcomed us so warmly at Umisuzume and made sure we were comfortable throughout our two-night stay. We chose both dinner and breakfast, and the food was truly exceptional, so I'd recommend booking the meal plan. We also had a barbecue one evening, which was another highlight. Every part of the visit exceeded what we expected, and we'll come back when we're in Ishigaki again. Thanks so much for hosting us!

The beach lived up to its name, and the view from Nosoko Marpe was amazing. After the rainy season the weather was great, and I was very satisfied. It really felt like nature itself was the best hospitality. If you get good weather, this is definitely a great place to stay.

A special, heartwarming place where even the inconveniences feel like part of the luxury. We had a private beach, a sky full of stars like a planetarium, and even happened to spot fireflies. The owner's thoughtful hospitality was excellent too. It was an extraordinary experience that made it easy to forget everyday life, and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to recharge in nature.
