Hanare Yado Yosizumi

We left completely full after an outstanding Kaiseki meal. The fish was very fresh and the flavors were excellent. The indoor and outdoor onsen baths both added to the wonderful atmosphere. Staff were polite and humble, and made us feel comfortable the whole time. We enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend it for a relaxing stay.

The property has just six rooms, and the personal, private service really suited us. My wife and I stayed for two nights in a room with both an indoor and an outdoor onsen for guests. The hotel is halfway up a mountain, very quiet, and only about ten minutes by taxi from Izu Kogen station. Meals were served in our room, and both breakfast and dinner were excellent quality. I especially liked the decent-sized indoor area with a bench where you can wash up or change clothes. Highly recommended.

It seemed like good value for the price, especially for how luxurious the place felt. My wife has stayed at a few ryokans, and she agreed with my take, even though this was my first time at one. We had a great time together, with excellent service and food. Everything was clean and well organized. There are two hot tubs, indoors and outdoors, both with nice ocean views. I’d absolutely recommend it if you want a high-quality traditional Japanese ryokan experience.

The room was spacious, so the lack of a public area didn’t bother me. We had a great vacation: the room and food were both nice, and service was great too. The location was convenient, and we could get to omuro easily before the crowds. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
