We only had one night at Ito Hotel Juraku and wished we could have stayed longer. The welcome from the staff was warm from the start, and at check-in they gave us a small complimentary gift from Ito, a thoughtful touch. Our room was modern, clean, and well kept. We booked one with an open-air bath, and it was absolutely worth it. Having a private bath and that exceptional view made the stay memorable, especially waking up to the scenery. There were complimentary games and activities for guests, and we had fun at the game corner with claw machines and other games. Dinner was outstanding, with impressive quality and variety, and everything we tried was delicious. One person at the pork carving station wasn’t especially friendly, but the rest of the dinner and breakfast staff were warm, kind, and attentive. The service after checkout really stood out. We realized we’d left our jackets in the closet and emailed the hotel. They replied almost immediately, packed the jackets carefully, and arranged overnight delivery to the closest Japan Post location near our Airbnb in Tokyo. We were leaving Japan soon, so their quick response and care meant a lot. The kind staff, lovely room, good food, and thoughtful amenities made it a five-star stay for us. We’re grateful for the hospitality and would happily stay at Ito Hotel Juraku again. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The food and service were great, but the rooms feel old and worn out. Given their condition, I think it’s overpriced.

The dinner buffet and breakfast were fantastic, and the employees were hospitable. The room itself was fine, though the carpet was dirty compared with what I’m used to at hotels in Japan. It could be worth staying if room quality isn’t a big concern, or perhaps a higher-priced room would be better.

We already have plans to come back next year. Every time we visit Japan, we make a point of returning here, since it’s such a beautiful, very clean place. The staff are so helpful and friendly, and the Japanese bath, or onsen, is really soothing. Both breakfast and dinner are nicely presented and have a good choice of Japanese and Western dishes. I truly love this place.

The service was excellent. We had drinks in the lounge while checking in, and there were complimentary snacks in the room. On our third night they served us grilled crayfish. The breakfast and dinner buffets both had a wide range of choices.
