Suigetsu

Just before our trip, we lost the friend who had planned to come with us. We debated cancelling, but decided to go ahead because my friend had also been looking forward to it. It felt strange for the two of us to arrive carrying our friend’s photo. The innkeepers were warm with us anyway. When we explained what had happened, they even prayed for our friend. I was sad and low, but the night turned into a very heartwarming stay. The hospitality was relaxed and good, and the food was delicious. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you so much.

A lovely inn where I stayed while sightseeing along the Oigawa Railway. The food and bath were excellent, though the bath was a little hot.

The building is old, but the food was delicious and the small bath was great. You can reserve the bath for private use by putting up a sign at the entrance, so no one else comes in. It’s open 24 hours, and I had a really peaceful stay. A very, very nice inn.

It felt like visiting my grandmother’s house. The comforting atmosphere was lovely, and the hot springs left my skin smooth and made me feel warm. I took eight baths over two nights. I only ordered breakfast, but it was delicious, with good variety and generous portions. I was grateful for the care they took with my allergies. The inn isn’t fancy, and its facilities fall short of a business hotel, but I was more satisfied here than anywhere else. It’s the best inn I’ve ever stayed at.
