Paltopia Yamaguchi

My mother stays here whenever she visits because our house doesn’t have much room, and it’s probably the cheapest hotel in Yamaguchi. She’s used one of the Japanese-style rooms, with tatami mats for sleeping, though they also have Western-style rooms. The hotel is close to the five-story Pagoda, the Art Museum, downtown, and the Onsen, and they even lent her a bicycle. When she once lost her wallet, the staff found her and returned it. I’d recommend the place. It’s run by a bus company, possibly with local government support, so it doesn’t seem to advertise much. I’m not sure whether there’s an English website. I speak Japanese, so I call or use the Japanese site. There may be an email address listed there too, or you could Google me and I’d probably give you their email.
