The location made it easy to explore nearby. Across the road are two large department stores, handy if you've forgotten something, and there's a second-hand bookshop near the station with all sorts of cheap stuff. There's a McDonald's close by too, plus a 24-hour ramen restaurant a bit farther away, a curry place, and a few other options. The area feels fairly new and open-plan, without the narrow lanes packed with noodle bars and pubs. The rooms are tiny, but very clean. The air conditioners look like they're built for a huge office and kept me cool in midsummer. I didn't meet any English-speaking staff, so bring a dictionary, though it wasn't a big problem. Just don't forget your keycard. There's free tea and probably noodles in the morning, but I never got around to trying them. A vending machine sells drinks, including beer, and there are a few small washing machines. If you have a lot to wash, try using them at an odd hour. Check-in isn't until 4 p.m., but you can leave your case in the lobby and head out to Tokyo. The city center is some distance away, about 45-50 minutes on the slow trains.

It was quiet, and my clean room was good. The hotel is close to the station, the breakfast was good and complimentary, and the front desk staff were friendly.

For an early flight from Narita, this is a good low-cost overnight option. It costs less than staying near the airport, and the Sky Access train gets you there in just 40 minutes.

I had a good stay. The bed was really large, and although breakfast was simple, it tasted good.
