We had the seafood kaiseki and could barely finish it because there was so much. Every bit of fish was fresh, tasty, and spectacular. The ryokan is on a small island in a chain of islands, and it was lovely walking around and watching sea eagles and other wildlife. A really nice, relaxing place.

The landlady and staff were warm and attentive, and the large public bath was clean. Dinner was a huge seafood meal in a private room, so much that it was almost impossible to finish, but every dish was delicious. Breakfast was tasty too. Our room had a great view of the prawn farm and ocean, and the Pokémon in the hallway were really cute. A truly lovely inn, and I'd definitely like to return.

I usually take three two-day, one-night trips a year. Lately I've been visiting the Aso area more often, but this time I wanted seafood, so I came with eight friends. The hostess was very friendly and did a solo dance that we enjoyed. I believe she also runs two other hotels. Fish dishes are the main focus here.

The stage show was a memorable part of the stay. I stayed overnight yesterday, and both breakfast and dinner were so delicious that I couldn't finish them. The landlady kindly let me take the leftovers home and was very considerate. Eating in my room in the annex was relaxing.
