The people here were so lovely, and the food was amazing. I even asked for another bowl of rice because I enjoyed it so much. Everything was clean and well looked after, from the lobby and room to the public bath and bathroom. I stayed on April 21, 2023, and this was definitely the best inn of my Japan trip. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting Japan.

The food was delicious, and my great-aunt and father were happy they could enjoy the hot springs, which they'd been concerned about. We stayed as a family and were grateful for how kindly Mr. Nakai and the landlady treated us. They helped right away when we arrived and even came with us to the room while we had the stroller. The hotel was beautifully kept, with lots of handicrafts around it that gave the place a nostalgic, elegant feel. The hospitality was warm and respectful, and we'd love to visit again.

I expected the hot spring to be busy when I visited on December 30, but it was a hidden gem and empty. I got to enjoy it fully and leave the year's tiredness behind.

The seafood dinner was generous, and the waitresses were very friendly, checking what each table needed. Toyama Yukamiko Onsen Ryokan feels like a very typical Japanese onsen ryokan, and soaking in the hot spring was really comfortable.

I went for a day visit. There isn't a sauna, but the indoor and outdoor baths were both a lovely temperature, never too hot. A great hot spring.
