The kids had fun at the swimming pool and river play area, though there’s no place to change and it gets really crowded after 11 am. The campground has nice shade from the trees, parking a short distance from the site, and a hot spring in the main building.

The other food was good, but I spent ¥2000 on beef sukiyaki and it turned out to be American beef.

The river was beautiful, and we felt surrounded by nature during our overnight trip with a friend’s family. Having a bath right beside the river was a great bonus for the families with children. I was disappointed by how the fish-catching activity was handled. On the first day we said we wanted to try it the next day, and were told we could reserve even that day. But when we went over, the only available times were after 2 PM, so we had to give up. It would’ve been more enjoyable if they’d mentioned that the day before.
