The nigiri was my favorite, and everything tasted so fresh and delicious. Portions were just right, if anything there's always more than enough. The staff are quite friendly, though speaking Japanese would be great. They understand English, but seem a little shy about chatting. I'd come back if I could.

We felt right at home here and had a delicious meal. The sushi was among the best we've had in Japan, and it was perfect for Kanazawa. The quality was outstanding, the dishes looked like little works of art, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.

We came after visiting the Higashi chaya district, and the location worked well. The chef put on an incredible show, and the service was amazing. Every dish was thoughtful and delicious, though it was pricey at 25000 yen per person. I'd recommend coming anytime but summer, when the fish will be fattier and more flavorful.

The chef makes sushi right in front of you using fresh fish, and the set menu was a great experience. The staff were welcoming. I'd absolutely recommend it, but reservations are mandatory.

In 25 years, this ranks among the best sushi I've ever eaten, in a lovely setting. The fixed menu changes with the season, and English is limited, though they do their best to communicate. It cost $200 per person, including a generous amount of premium sakes. I don't go out for sushi often. I'd rather pay for the best experience or eat something else, and this was well worth it, an experience I'll remember.
