The Japanese food was really good, and karaoke was fun too.
Breakfast was Japanese home-style cooking. It was just average compared with other hotels, though fine for a low-priced package. The rooms are small and have the usual Japanese style, and the hot water was good. Tsushima itself is especially nice, but the elevator here is very small.
Izuhara is close enough to reach on foot, which is handy. There’s a shared microwave and vending machine on the first floor, and the prices are reasonable. The rooms feel quite old, like a typical Japanese hotel. For a solo traveler, though, it’s comfortable enough if you just need a place to sleep. Lots of people stay at Toyoko Inn.
The rooms were clean, a decent size, and didn’t smell of smoke. For the low price, it was comfortable and very nice. The husband, wife, and son were all kind. On my way back, my motorcycle gave me trouble, and the whole family got concerned, called around to people they knew, and even kept an eye on my bike. Their kindness made the trip a happy one.
