Ninja TABI-NE

The inside has been renovated and looks very nice, though from the outside it’s an old house. The accommodation is upstairs, with steep stairs that could be difficult for older people or small children, and carrying luggage up is quite a struggle. There are various dishes and utensils, so it seems well suited to a get-together with friends. It’s right beside a major intersection, literally next to it. Parking depends a lot on timing, and anyone sensitive to noise might want to avoid it. Noise doesn’t bother me much, so it wasn’t an issue for me. I stayed in April. There’s air conditioning in the room, but it was a little cold. Since this is a renovated old house, winter or summer could be challenging. For value, it’s excellent. For comfort, it’s so-so. I care more about value, so it was excellent for me.

There’s a garage on the ground floor where you can park your car, and I found the room clean and easy to use despite the simple facilities. I stayed overnight with friends who’d come from far away. The rooms have a fun samurai touch, inspired by the nearby Ninja Temple and Nishichaya-gai. The temple’s full of ninja-style features and is a must-see for families with kids; Nishichaya-gai is a short walk away and has a kind of ninja museum too. Take a close look inside the closet, and you’ll find a mysterious hidden staircase leading to an interesting room. I’m sure kids or friends would have a fun stay here.

It’s a renovated old Japanese house, with even old wall hooks still in place. The room is perfectly adequate for a stay, and I uploaded photos of things like the seasonings. Be prepared for winter, though, because it gets very cold, even inside the room.

There’s no TV, and the bathroom is shower-only. The room itself was clean, and parking is available on the first floor. The stairs are narrow and a bit steep, and there’s a hidden door that leads up to the third floor.
