Smile Hotel Premium Kanazawa

The hotel has a warm, pleasant feel, with light colors that made it feel almost like home. Our room worked well for two with luggage, and the layout was both practical and attractive. The bathroom was good, the toiletries felt high quality, and there were several streaming channels on the TV. Check-in took almost no time, and the staff were kind and welcoming. It’s very close to the station, a real advantage. We were very happy with the service and would gladly come back.

Breakfast was tasty and beautifully arranged, though it was nearly the same each day, so a longer stay might get repetitive. My room was quiet and fairly spacious, and the bed was very comfortable. I especially liked the dimmable light. Kanazawa Station is only about three minutes away, and I had a truly great time here.

We loved staying here. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location is excellent, just a few minutes on foot from the train station and the bus and taxi stands. There’s a large mall with lots of restaurants across the street, plus convenience stores nearby. The staff were courteous and helpful whenever we spoke with them.

The room was about what you’d expect from a business hotel by the station. The breakfast didn’t suit me: it’s a standard Japanese set rather than a buffet, and they run out quickly. If you want to eat and get going fast, that could work well. I prefer to take my time over breakfast, so it wasn’t for me. The location is the biggest plus, with the station close by for getting around Kanazawa and plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I’d rate it 4.5 out of 5 if I could.
