The value was amazing, about 70 USD a night in November through hotels.com. There’s parking if you drive, an Onigiri place and seven eleven by the entrance, and key card access to the lobby and floors after hours. The elevator was quick, and I never waited long. Staff were very helpful, and everyone we met spoke English. There’s no daily housekeeping. It’s a business hotel, so the rooms are small by US standards, but decent for Japan. There’s only really room for sleeping, and more than two bags between you will make it tight. The bed was firm, as is common in Japan. The biggest drawback was the very high step into the bathroom, which seemed higher than in similar rooms and could be an issue at night for some. The location is great, with walkable access to most popular sights and the loop bus. The station is excellent for dinner and shopping. At least three Starbucks are nearby, so you can hang out there instead of in the small room before bed. We could sometimes hear the elevator from two rooms away and a little station music through the window, but neither was loud or disruptive, even for one very light sleeper.

The station location made getting around Kanazawa easy, with the bus and taxi terminal right outside, shopping malls on site, and a 7-Eleven nearby. The hotel was clean, the staff were helpful, and at around $40-60USD a night it felt like a great budget choice. For a more luxurious touch, APA Spa is a block away and opens at 6am, with open-air baths for 1200yen. Hyatt Centric is also a block away and has a lovely all-you-can-eat breakfast for about 4000yen, while grabbing breakfast at 7-Eleven works fine too. One of my favorite business hotels in Japan so far.

The location is perfect, with the entrance right at JR station level and plenty of restaurants nearby. I was there in the blizzard at the end of Jan 2026. The room is tiny, but the price is very good and the staff are super nice.

I had a pleasant stay. The room was comfortable and the amenities felt thoughtful. Staff kindly lent me a charging device and held my luggage after checkout so I could explore the city once more. The station shops were easy to reach without even putting on a coat, and getting to different kinds of transport was very convenient.

The rooms are small, but they have everything you need, and I had no trouble sleeping despite being able to hear the trains, since it wasn't in the middle of the night. Staff were very nice and polite. Since the hotel is inside Kanazawa Station, it works well for exploring the city or taking day trips to places like Shirakawago or Kaga Onsen. A great budget option in Kanazawa.
