I stayed here during my henro in November 2025 and still don’t know how I paid so little for it. The stay was excellent, with a lovely spa and a really nice restaurant next door.

The courtyard has a great chill-out spot, and I’d recommend a walk on the nearby beach. The rooms are cute and clean, too.

A lovely boutique hotel for a night in Kanonji City. It’s well staffed, has modern facilities, and the customer service was outstanding. Its location is great for the Henro, close to T68/69 and the onsen next door.

I felt completely relaxed here, with a real Setouchi atmosphere. The hot springs at the Kotohiki Kairo hot spring facility right across from the hotel were available without limits, and you can see the ocean from the sauna. They apparently have barbecues and other events in the garden, too. In the evening it becomes a bar-style place where you can order local craft beer and other drinks. I rented a bicycle as well, which made for a very full and enjoyable vacation. The reception staff were kind, and getting a message card at checkout made me happy.

The hotel opened in February this year and is right next to the sauna and hot spring facility "Kotohiki Kairo". The front desk had picture books and toys for different ages that guests could borrow. There were toys in our room and a swing outside, and my son was incredibly excited (*>▽
