The hotel feels like luxury without the luxury price, with a modern, polished design and a calm atmosphere. My room was comfortable and well equipped, with a thoughtful layout that didn’t feel cramped or bare. Laundry rooms on several floors are a real help for longer stays or a mid-trip refresh. It’s easy to walk from Yokohama Station, and the hotel is on the fourth floor inside THE YOKOHAMA FRONT. I found it much easier to navigate by mapping “The Yokohama Front Mall” specifically. The mall has good food and drink options, so meals are easy to sort out. One small issue: the air-conditioning acted a bit oddly and took some time to adjust. It wasn’t a dealbreaker. The stay was comfortable and good value, and it’s a convenient base in Yokohama.

We spent seven nights here and slept extremely well. The bed was very comfortable, the sleepwear was good quality, and everything was very clean. For Yokohama, the room was a decent size. Having the toilet and shower in separate spaces made it more convenient, and daily housekeeping was available on request. Supplies were replenished properly. The hotel’s position inside Yokohama Front is one of its best features. You can reach the station directly under cover, which was especially useful in the rain. Luggage storage was simple to use, though you need an IC card to lock up your bags. There are plenty of nearby restaurants and cafés, plus a City Bakery inside the hotel with really good coffee and pastries. Hotel guests also get a discount there, and it made mornings especially enjoyable. A comfortable, clean, convenient place to stay in Yokohama.

Coming all the way from New Zealand, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The kind, welcoming staff were always ready to help, and even assisted with our baggage transfer. Those small things made us feel well looked after and turned our dream trip into a memorable one. Thank you to Japan and everyone at The Splasir Yokohama. We’ll definitely be back ❤️🥰 The amenities were fantastic, especially having laundry available while travelling. Trains were easy to reach, parking was simple, and the hotel’s connection to a mall made everything convenient. We absolutely loved our stay.

My room was bright and well designed, with a great view over the station. It felt like a new, clean, comfortable hotel, and the surrounding area has hundreds of good restaurants. I got the impression that some sections have long-term guests, but that didn’t affect my two-day visit. The main entrance and reception are on the fourth floor, with a separate elevator for the guest floors. I never waited more than 30 seconds. There’s also a side entrance for after-hours; I liked using it and taking the stairs up four floors for some exercise. A bakery and restaurant are by reception, and the restaurant turns into a nice breakfast buffet. The breakfast butter offered healthy, traditional, and western options. A couple of small things could be better. There was no bottled water in the room, though staff said the property’s water is filtered and the tap water tasted fine. The air conditioning was set to 73°F, and when I lowered it to 70°F for sleeping, it reset to 73°F after about half an hour. It wasn’t much of an issue for two days, but it would bother me on a longer stay if I couldn’t control the temperature. The hotel is a three-minute walk from Yokohama Station.

We stayed about 12 days and plan to come back. It was my first trip to the country, and we picked Yokohama as a base for day trips to Tokyo, Kamakura, Enoshima, and Yokosuka, where my husband is from. Our travel credit card company recommended the hotel, and it was one of the best we’ve stayed in. The room was roomy and comfortable, with a nice layout and cool temperature. The bathroom was huge, and the bidet’s warm seat made early-morning bathroom trips relaxing, haha. My husband was happy to find easy-to-use laundry facilities, and there was a complimentary iron on our floor. City Bakery on the fourth floor was a nice surprise, and breakfast at Suju dining was delicious and filling. We only tried it in our last couple of days, which was too bad. Getting there from the station and checking in were both easy. Google Maps helped us find Yokohama Front, since there are different ways to reach the hotel: take the escalators from the station and turn right to another set, or pass the shops and go straight into the building to the elevators for the fourth floor. The one problem was the air conditioner being off when we got back after sightseeing. It happened twice. My husband thought we might not understand the Japanese settings. Our son, who was visiting from Yokosuka, where he was stationed, knew more of the language and helped us with the air conditioner and humidifier. I’d definitely recommend this for a first visit to the area. Thanks for the great hospitality.
