My favorite part of the room was the window nook, with two chairs, a table, and a wide seat where I could watch the harbor and the Ferris wheel turn. Our room was quiet and the view was lovely. The bed and linens were soft and comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything clean and well stocked. Lighting, Wi-Fi, and climate control worked reliably. The room was small and somewhat dated, without the luxury feel I’ve had at other InterContinental hotels, but it was cozy and laid out well. There was enough storage, including a closet and three large drawers, plus slippers and robes. The bathroom was clean and had a tub and shower combination, handheld showerhead, and adequate water pressure. Toiletries were replenished daily, and the heated-seat bidet with self-flushing was a nice touch. The room also had a kettle, cups, utensils, instant coffee, tea, bottled water, a small fridge with drinks and snacks, iron and ironing board, safe, smart TV, and outlets by both bedside tables and the desk. Breakfast in the executive lounge was à la carte, but vegan choices were very limited. Staff tried to help, though most meals ended up being plain steamed vegetables without much protein or nutritional balance. The waitstaff were friendly and helpful. The waterfront setting in Minato Mirai is clean, safe, scenic, and easy to walk around, and the price felt fair for the location, views, and facilities. It’s a comfortable, convenient base in Yokohama, though the luxury level didn’t quite meet my expectations. I’d stay again.

The room had a lovely sea view, and the location is handy for the Cup Noodle Museum while still being quiet. The price was good, the rooms were very clean, and the service was extraordinarily great. Put the green card on the bed if you want to save on blanket cleaning. We’ll come back if we’re in Tokyo or Yokohama next time.

The lounge staff were excellent, and the afternoon tea was very good. We had lounge access, but as vegans found the breakfast and dinner snacks lacking, even though there were plenty of drinks. The hotel is beautiful inside and out, with lots of activities, restaurants, and shopping nearby. Check-in on the second floor was quick and efficient. Our room was quiet, the heat and AC made no noise, Wi-Fi was fast and steady, and the blackout was about 99%. The TV was a good size. The view was stunning, with a small perch by the window. The room itself felt a little dated and small. The bathroom sink was chipping, and I’m not a fan of the tub and shower combination, though it worked for my 6’3” (190.5cm) frame. There were plenty of toiletries, including body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toothbrushes, comb, toothpaste, and a vanity kit. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were flat. The closet and three large drawers were enough for us, and the refrigerator was fully stocked with items for purchase. There were no dedicated USB ports, so we used our adapters. After four nights, I didn’t get a five-star feeling from the hotel. It’s a great place, but I’m not sure I’d stay again. 2026-04-28

The rooms were clean and felt well cared for, and the lounge had a good range of drinks. The food at breakfast and happy hour was just so-so, though. The lounge also felt short on amenities for a hotel of this level. The rooms weren’t quite my style, since they were a little dated, but the service and location were great. Have a drink at the restaurant and look out over the bay. The views and location are so good that I’ll be back.
