Room 301 had a great beach view, and I could hear the waves even with the windows shut. They do rattle a bit when it's windy, which it often is by the beach. The place has a bit of an Overlook Hotel feel: check-in is done on a tablet, it's quiet most of the time, and you hardly see anyone. Staff are around doing their work, but somehow don't really interact with you. The kitchen is the real highlight if you like cooking for yourself. It's fully equipped with cookware, gear and basic ingredients, enough to make a feast for a few people. You can use the gas burners or plug in the single induction hot plate. Self-catering could pretty much pay for the room, and the last few photos show what I mean.
