The boss was so friendly. On our first day, he picked us up at Karuizawa Station, and even took us to the Prince ski resort. We had dinner there twice, the prices were reasonable and the meat was nice. Our room was clean and warm. Highly recommend it.
10/10
We enjoyed the Ishi-buro, with its big bath and hot water, and the room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed two nights, and everything was perfect. One evening we ate at the restaurant, where the meat was delicious. The staff were really nice and gave us a lift both to and from Karuizawa Station for our shinkansen. Naka Karuizawa Station was nearby, with buses for getting around the area.
8/10
The cabin was tidy and clean, and the wagyu at the restaurant right beside it was pretty good. The bathroom felt a bit too small, but in general it’s a nice place to stay.
6/10
The rooms felt tiny, and they were extremely cold.

Give this good experience in Karuizawa a try.
