Our family of five found this a good place to recharge. The room for three was spacious, the public onsen was nice, and breakfast was amazing. The staff were efficient. There are a few improvements that would help seniors and guests with disabilities: the elevator should stop at the lobby, and another elevator would make the hotel easier to access and add safety in an emergency. Also, the outside roof over both the men’s and women’s onsen needs cleaning. Looking up at it, it seemed unclean and unhealthy.

We got excellent service: early check-in, and our bags were left in the lobby, then already placed in the room once it was ready. That was especially helpful because the elevator has a half flight of stairs to reach. The rooms are very large by Japanese standards, with a separate kitchen and bar area, a living room that fits two sofa beds, and a nicely sized bedroom. As of February 2026, rooftop renovations were underway. The onsen hours could be better, since it closes from 9:30 until 4pm.

It’s an older hotel, but very well kept. Check-in was easy, and there’s a McDonald’s, bakery, and supermarket within a two-minute walk. Hotel guests can also use the public bath on site.

We enjoyed the quiet and spacious, comfortable room during our two-night, three-day stay. The location is great, and the breakfast buffet was a favorite, with good food and great coffee. The staff were lovely, too. I enjoyed the sauna and public bath, though I wish they stayed open later at night. We had a really nice stay.
