Mitsui Garden Hotel Kashiwanoha Chiba

For the price, this is a very reasonable stay. It's close to Kashiwa-no-ha campus station, and I enjoyed the onsen and the international breakfast. I didn't eat at the restaurant, though it looked very good. I did wish the room had more space to put clothes.

The neighborhood is quiet and green, with Kashiwanoha park about a 15-minute walk away. It has cherry blossoms, a lake with little boats, and a pleasant walking path. There are also two Tully's Coffee shops about two minutes from the hotel, handy for getting some work done over a matcha latte or coffee. I was able to finish work comfortably in the room too. The Onsen was gorgeous, clean, and generally not crowded. I liked that there was a little self bar where you could choose conditioner and shampoo from different brands. The TSUKUBA EXPRESS (Tsukuba Express) is right next to the hotel, taking about 30 minutes to reach Akihabara and under an hour to Shibuya. It's not in central Tokyo, but the connection makes the city easy to reach, and LalaPort is just around the corner. For me, this has the best price-performance ratio of all Mitsui Garden Hotels. It's a lovely hotel in a peaceful area with parks and access to city life. Thank you very much!

The rooms had enough space and were very clean. There’s a laundry and a large bath area, and the hotel is close to both the station and a mall. A really nice place in general.

Having a natural spring and steam sauna was a nice bonus and felt refreshing. The hotel is surrounded by a shopping mall, convenience store, metro station, and car park, so the location is very convenient. I was on the 6th floor and could still hear the metro running sometimes, though fortunately not at midnight.
