Green Field

We were on our way home from snowboarding when we stayed here at the end of the year. The gentle couple who run the inn made it a very relaxing visit, and the meal course was as generous and delicious as everyone says. Since we came in winter, the snowy, icy roads were a bit worrying. Still, it's an inn I'd like to visit again.

We got in late, but the delicious meal helped us feel refreshed. When driving from the ski resort, don't take shortcuts. Stick to the wider roads.

We were very well looked after during our two-day stay. The room was clean and the food was delicious. I'd like to come back.

The bath was just the right temperature, and there’s a drying room for skis and snowboards. There’s an 800-yen daily heating fee at the moment, but that’s understandable. Guests can also get discounts at ski areas in Katashina Village. Oguna Hotaka Ski Resort is nearby, while Marunuma Kogen and Oze Iwakura take a bit longer to reach. Our two-bedroom room didn’t leave much room to spread out luggage, but it was clean and well kept. Breakfast was tasty, and we could have more bread and coffee.
