For 2,250 yen we got the lunch buffet and bath combo, which was good value for our Friday day trip in Chiba. The buffet was busy around noon, but when we went to the bath at about 1 pm, it was completely empty. There was plenty of food to choose from, though the quality was just okay. It felt like quantity over quality, but at that price it’s hard to complain. The bath setup felt more like a communal bath than a “real” onsen, with one large indoor bath and a jacuzzi in the middle, plus an outdoor bath. The sauna runs at a low 50-60°C, so anyone wanting a traditional hot sauna and a proper sweat might be disappointed. It was an okay stop for the money, just don’t expect a luxury onsen experience.

We’ve stayed overnight here before, but for a hot spring visit, a day trip of a couple of hours feels like enough. On a day-use visit you can’t use the restaurant. The place has an old-fashioned onsen hotel feel, and the facilities could use upgrades. There are video games, table tennis, comics, and a rest area on the second floor. It’s family-friendly enough, with free parking, a baby room, and an accessible toilet. Cleanliness gets four stars; I’d give the personal recommendation, family friendliness, services and meals three stars, and a couples’ date two. An overnight stay is around 30,000 yen; day-use costs about 760 yen for adults and 120 yen for kids, with face towels at 100 yen.

Nothing here really stood out, and the water from the dispenser wasn’t cold at all. I like their Shin Urayasu branch better.
