For one of my cheapest stays, the amenities were surprisingly good. Check-in was easy, and the room was roomy and comfortable. It had a full kitchen, and all the appliances worked properly. The shower was clean and came with toiletries, and the bathtub could be used as an onsen bath, so I bought salt for it. Laundry was well set up too, with detergent, clips, hangers, and a place to hang clothes to dry. There’s just one toilet bowl to share, so we took turns. That was fine for us, though it could be awkward if everyone needed it at once. The women’s spray was unusually strong even at its lowest setting; everything else was good. The location is handy for shopping and outlets. Family Mart is a minute away by car, so we stopped there before heading back.

We had everything we needed for a stay of several days, and the place was clean. It’s also convenient for the convenience store and Mitsui Outlet Park.
We stayed three nights with our three kids. The price was good and the shopping nearby was convenient, but there were some serious problems. Noise from the floor above was extremely loud day and night. I complained, but nothing changed. It also didn’t feel hotel-clean, and the bed and sofa were in very poor condition. There’s no reception. Make sure you get the four-digit door PIN before arriving. Otherwise, you may have no way to contact them except by making a direct call.
It’s already midnight as I write this, and the noise from the second floor has kept me from sleeping at all. If you’re very sensitive to noise, I’d avoid staying here.
We picked this Japanese apartment for its great location near the outlet mall. From there, we drove another 30 minutes to Mount Nokogiri, where the ropeway goes up the mountain. The temple grounds have the Orient’s largest carved granite Buddha, and the Goddess of Mercy is worth seeing too. Back at the apartment, we had a relaxing stay. It was exceptionally clean, efficient, and had everything we needed.
