It’s a convenient resort, with lodging that feels like a training camp attached to the ski resort, plus a large hot spring bath. Foreign guests have returned since COVID-19, and the place feels livelier again, but the food has become extremely poor. Before, meals included a buffet with meat dishes and fried foods. During COVID-19 they switched to individually served meals, and that was still the setup for the 2024 season, with pretty poor food. Getting around is tough without a car, since there’s nowhere nearby to shop.
