The walk from the station can be confusing if you follow Google Maps through the back streets early on. The hotel itself is comfortable and well cleaned, with no cigarette smell. Even though it's a single room, it feels roomier than major chain A and not cramped. The facilities have a Showa-era feel, but for the price I think the value is excellent.

There are plenty of nightlife spots nearby, and the station is a bit of a walk, so take care not to get lost. The rooms and shower rooms were clean. Just be aware there are no laundry baskets. Personally, I found the mattress too soft and the pillows too high.

It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the station, and you can use a covered arcade when it rains. This is a fairly cheap hotel in the Kitakyushu area, with standard rooms as well as rooms that have showers and toilets. I've stayed a few times, but only when nearby hotels were full. If I had another option, I wouldn't pick it. It's a renovated old multi-tenant building, and the renovation feels haphazard, leaving the place rather dirty. The price is below a typical business hotel, but the facilities and amenities are poor. There's not even laundry service, which makes it a bad fit for business travelers. It might be okay for a night or two. For about 1000 yen more, you can get a normal business hotel nearby, so the value here is poor unless the price drops considerably.

I slept okay, so the uneven bed was manageable. I was in a room with a shared shower room on another floor.
