With only 23 rooms total and four on each floor, this is probably Kitami’s most boutique hotel. The rooms are compact but fully equipped and spotless, and the bedding is exceptionally comfortable. It runs without staff on site, so guests manage check-in and checkout themselves. A distinctive touch is the partnership with Kitami Hakka Oil, whose signature products are used for all the in-room amenities.

Check-in is handled electronically when you arrive, and it’s straightforward, though a manager is available if you need help. There are just four rooms on each floor. The rooms are on the small side but comfortable, with a bathroom that’s a decent size by Japanese standards. The packed breakfast provided is basic and limited for a Western palate. A perfectly satisfactory hotel for travelers.

This is our third stay here. The mint theme is really lovely, and the cleanliness is perfect. The person at reception is kind and helpful. I’d recommend this hotel to foreigners 🤗

A clean, pleasant place with a compact room that’s just enough for two. It works well for tourists who only need somewhere to rest after a day of sightseeing.

We slept really well, and it was great value. Everything felt fresh, and the place was very clean and new. It’s easy to find, with plenty of parking out front or nearby in two designated areas.
