This is a really nice, modern hotel, and it feels more luxurious than the business hotels I'm used to, partly thanks to the lovely interior design. When I was there in October 2025, the road outside was blocked and there was a huge hole where the easiest future connection from Sannomiya Station will be. For now, follow signs for the Port Liner to get there from the station. That route also takes you past the biggest group of coin lockers. Go up the escalator to the second floor for the Port Liner ticket gates, but keep going past them onto the elevated walkway linking the station with the M-INT Kobe building. Don't enter that building. Take the walkway to the building behind it, next to the hotel. Cross over, go down the escalator and out the other side, then walk down the street to the hotel. Reception is on the 2nd floor, so from the street you'll just see two elevators.

Breakfast costs 1650 yen, about triple what you'd pay at a cafe, and I wouldn't get it. Half of it is put away before 9 even though breakfast runs until 10, while you still pay full price. The ‘one plate’ breakfast was just 2/3 lettuce leaves.

The beds and pillows were excellent, and it was nice to be able to crack the windows open instead of relying only on the AC. The breakfast coffee was a surprise highlight, easily the best we had at any of our accommodations. Staff were friendly and polite, too. Brenza Hotel is clean, comfortable, and well located. The bathroom and toilet are small, though that's pretty standard in Japan. It doesn't have a unique or traditional feel, just a straightforward but very good business hotel. I'd recommend it for a comfortable, convenient stay.

The staff were friendly, and the room was nice and cosy, with AC. Amenities are available to pick up at reception. There's no complimentary water, but you can boil tap water.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable, and the hotel felt quiet and safe. My booking didn't include room cleaning, but when I got back from touring each day, the room had been tidied and fresh towels left. There's parking, plus washer-dryer combo machines and vending machines with a microwave nearby. I had a great stay. Restaurants, shops, entertainment, and the train station are all very close.
