The onsen and aromatherapy sauna were a highlight, and I loved the extras: a manga room, massage chairs, free Yakult and popsicles, plus free ramen late at night. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The location is excellent too, close to Chinatown, a few minutes from the train station, with a convenience store right across the road. Check-in and check-out were easy, and they'll hold your things if you arrive early. The double room was very compact, almost like a cruise ship cabin. The bed was hard enough that I woke up with back pain, and each of us had just one small, hard pillow that wasn't comfortable. It's a good option if location and facilities matter most and you don't mind a tight room. I'd stay again, but probably bring my own pillow.

The onsen upstairs was fantastic, and the hotel and rooms were clean and fairly new. Service was great too: we got extra pillows without any trouble, and the man at reception helped us book a restaurant for Kobe beef. Parking is quite expensive.

The location is incredible if you want to get a feel for Kobe, right around the corner from China town and a 6-8 minute walk from the port. The late-night ramen is a must, and I loved the onsen and free ice cream. My only complaint is that the pillows were very flat and not especially comfortable, though I managed.

We stayed one night as a family. The location was great, and we really liked the noodles the hotel served at night. We left our child's Cinnamoroll doll in the bed when we checked out. It's their Christmas present, so I've been trying to reach the hotel by email to get it back. I hope to hear from them soon, as we're leaving Japan tomorrow.
