The location worked well for a city visit, just a five-minute walk from the main station, with plenty of little shops, bars, and snack places nearby. The owners were lovely, and I enjoyed my three-night stay. Thanks, R2Team! There's a shared group room with a kitchen, toilets on every floor, and the shared shower is downstairs in the basement. I hardly ever had to wait for it. The two-bed room gives you more privacy, while the "capsules" are spacious. Everything is air-conditioned and quiet, so it was easy to rest. For visitors from abroad, everything is explained in English at least.

A pretty good hostel, and the bed was comfortable with air conditioning. It didn't seem full when I stayed, but if it had been, the two showers for the whole hostel might have caused a problem. Be ready to wait in the morning when it's busy. Otherwise, it was good.

We had a private room for two. It was clean, and the bathroom was okay. There's a kitchen guests can use, though I can't say much about it. The hostel isn't too far from the train station, but it took us a while to find it. When we arrived, we waited an hour before staff showed up and unlocked the front door.

Getting around Kobe was easy from here, with the station nearby and loads of food places, bars, and shops in reach. I had a great time sightseeing on a KOBELIN bike after signing up. The staff were friendly and spoke English, and there was plenty of useful information around. Dorm beds aren't too high, so climbing in and out is easy. The showers have real power, bwah, though the temperature can swing between boiling and freezing. I guess that's part of the fun.

Nothing fancy about the place, even for a hostel, but the staff were really helpful and the beds were reasonably comfortable. The shower got hot, and you're close to the trains and all the shopping you need for a Kobe visit. Worth giving it a try.
