The location is high up in the hills, so a pickup is a good idea if you have lots of luggage or difficulty walking. Getting there is fairly easy, with the most convenient route from the Osaka area being an hour-long bus ride. The staff were polite and accommodating, the room was clean and nice, and the service felt comfortable. One thing to check is whether your room has a shower, since ours didn't. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied, especially for anyone who likes Japanese food, and dinner was tasty too. Neither meal was fancy, but both were impressive for the price. The onsen was good, though there are no outdoor baths. Outside guests can use it, so it wasn't the calmest; that seemed understandable given the price. Tattoos aren't allowed, which is normal for larger facilities in Japan. A good option for a reasonably priced trip to one of Japan's best hot springs.

We had a spacious room, and the staff were friendly. Dinner was great, and since we stayed two nights, the menu changed each evening. The breakfast buffet had a good variety too. The location worked perfectly for a road trip, with free parking and no elevation between the car park and the entrance. I'd drop the luggage off at the main entrance first.

The traditional Tatami room was lovely, and we had a wonderful time. The staff were very friendly, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. The hotel also has a free shuttle to the train station, which we used before check-in and after checkout. I'd recommend it to friends visiting the Osaka-Kobe area.

The hotel looks like it may have just been renovated. I had a great stay, with refined buffet choices at both dinner and breakfast and spot-on service.
