Kobe Port Tower Hotel

Really close to the arena and shopping street. They have a free shuttle to the station and lollies at reception. Breakfast was mostly traditional, delicious, and had an omelette station.

20250324 We drove here, and the parking lot was tiny. There was one space left, luckily, but getting into it took ages. We booked through Agoda and had confusion over the non-smoking room options, but there wasn't anything we could do about it. Otherwise the stay was good. There's a Manga and gathering area outside the public bath, which was nice. The hotel is outside the busy area, but walking about 10 minutes in different directions gets you to various sightseeing spots. We only noticed too late that there's a bridge to avoid the traffic lights if you leave via the first-floor exits instead of the ground floor.

For a stay around Kobe bay, this hotel is fantastic. The front desk was great and very accommodating. Suzuki san was especially kind.

The Club and Deluxe rooms on the so-called "Luxury" floors, 5F and 6F, are spacious and modern, but there's no view at all. Worse, the highway is so close that the rooms are unbearably noisy. At 35k¥ per night, they could have put in noise-proof windows. There wasn't any bottled water in the room either. At this price, I'd recommend one of the nearby hotels instead, since you can easily find better options.
