The manager was so nice and professional. I really liked this hostel in Kobe Sannomiya East. It's on a big street, but the place itself is quiet, and the train station isn't far.

The owners were kind and helpful, and there was a clean kitchen and common room where we could relax. The rooms are simple, but comfortable and clean, and it was a great affordable option for a weekend away. It was freezing in February, but I found a nice cheese shop and spotted lots of restaurants and stores along the main road. The station is nearby, too. I'd like to come back and explore more.

We've stayed in Japan at a few hostels now, and this one was the cleanest and friendliest so far. It's basic, but has everything you need. It's a little outside Kobe, though the station is an easy five-minute walk and gets you anywhere.

The dorm was the most spacious I've ever stayed in, and the facilities were decent, but the place felt soulless. The host wasn't accommodating. I was out of my room by 10 for checkout, but was told I'd have to pay a late checkout fee if I wanted to eat breakfast in the kitchen before leaving.

Really nice stay, with friendly staff and a very clean place. I'll come back.
