Auberge Cosmos

My girlfriend and I were heading to the hotel's public bath while we were out of our room. A front desk staff member went into our room, saying he'd called and needed help, but I hadn't called. I think he saw us walk past the front office, and I came away suspecting he intended to steal something. It was such a bad experience that we changed hotels around 9 pm.

The view was great, but for that price it felt like a total rip off. The food was disgusting and the decor looked cheap. The older staff were kind and very attentive, but unfortunately not professional.

They offer service in English, which was helpful for me as a foreigner. The staff were kind and friendly. I'd recommend it to my friends.

Auberge Cosmos sits quietly in the forest, and the guest room window looks out onto trees that make time feel slower. I also liked sitting by the lobby fireplace, where the quiet seemed to sink in. In autumn, the scenery feels almost like a movie. From the open-air bath, the golden water and deep red leaves come together in a magical view, with branches moving beyond the steam like a little private stage. Breakfast in the morning light felt like part of the trip itself. There was a glossy omelet, a steaming hot pot, and a colorful spread of small dishes, each one tempting to try. This is more than somewhere to sleep, it feels like stepping out of everyday life and into a story. The bathroom photos were taken with the hotel's permission, when no guests were there.
