Hotel Vanilla Komaki

I tried the private karaoke room on the sixth floor, Room 503, with a LIVE DAM AiR machine. The large TV and good sound made it comfortable, and there was a water server. Each visit is limited to two hours. The room was bright and warm, but I found dust on the filter behind the hair dryer and trash from previous guests under the table. The cleaning could have been more thorough. This SARA Group love hotel is right near Komaki Interchange, and I finally stopped in after passing it for a while because the barrel sauna and other features caught my eye. In Room 612, the spacious, luxurious room had both an indoor and an outdoor bath. It was handy having separate baths for cold water and regular bathing while enjoying the sauna. The barrel sauna was roomy enough for two, and got very hot. Using self-loyly brought the heat up quickly. There was also space outside for an open-air bath. The main letdown was that the water wasn't ice cold. I wish the taps ran colder, which would make relaxing more satisfying. I'd also like the rooms cleaned more thoroughly. I heard they have other facilities like karaoke, and would consider using them again if I get the chance.

Please bring back the large mat that used to be in the open-air bath. It was perfect for enjoying lotion. I realize it may be hard to maintain, but I really miss it. Thank you.

We booked a free-time weekday evening stay. The room looked nice, but we found several pubic hairs in both the room and toilet, and live insects crawling in the bathroom. It immediately put both of us off and ruined the mood. Since we'd only just arrived, I considered asking to change rooms, but decided against calling the front desk because I thought the same cleaning staff would probably be working then. I hope room service staff get stricter instructions. That's why I gave it one star.

I stayed in a Standard C+ room on a holiday. The room was clean and I was satisfied. The bathtub was wide enough for two people to sit side by side in a squatting position, which I liked. I didn't use the cosplay service, but the selection is extensive compared with other hotels. I was impressed to see larger L sizes and Sailor Moon lingerie, which I haven't seen elsewhere. The interior and facilities are nice, but it's a bit pricey for casual visits. Cosplay isn't free, and members pay 100 yen.
