E-Hotel Koshigaya

We won't be staying here again. I'm American and not used to Japanese beds, but this one was uncomfortably small even by Japanese business hotel standards, and definitely too small for two people. There are better options nearby.

A quiet, peaceful place. Nice for relaxing or for a business trip.

It's a quiet place, and the staff are very nice.

The public bath was comfortable, and the high levels of metasilicic acid and metabromic acid left my skin feeling smooth. It's a proper hot spring. My main disappointment was the women's first bathing slot, from 15:00-17:30, since check-in starts at 16:00. That meant I couldn't use the bath for the first hour and didn't get to soak for long. The room was clean and comfortable, and despite being right next to the elevator, it stayed very quiet. The air purifier and air conditioning worked well. The hotel also seems to make an effort to improve its service based on guest requests. I liked how flexible the place was, and would stay again. Breakfast was especially good for someone watching sugar or salt intake: the grilled fish and eggs were tasty, there was unsweetened yogurt and milk for protein, and the other dishes weren't overly seasoned like restaurant food often is. Rice and miso soup are all-you-can-eat, so it's also good if you want to eat a lot. Koshigaya station is nearby along an almost straight route. Restaurants, a supermarket, and a drugstore are by the station, so you can manage without carrying much. The phone charger had various connector types.
