Glamping La Fonte

We had a very satisfying stay, and the stars were beautiful at night. The owner was wonderfully welcoming, and the baths and washroom huts in each building were clean and comfortable. The meal plan seemed a little expensive, though. Depending on the situation, they can arrange a paid shuttle from Enzan Station if you request it, which makes this a good option for a quick glamping trip from Tokyo by train.

We had so much fun figuring things out together, and the stay became a great memory for my husband and me. It was our first time glamping, somewhere he’d always wanted to try. Tucked away in the mountains, it gave us a chance to enjoy nature, make hot sandwiches in the morning, and roast marshmallows over the BBQ and bonfire at night. There were plenty of amenities, so nothing was inconvenient. In the evening we got carried away with cards and Jenga, and even as adults we had a blast. The staff were excellent and made the stay really relaxing. We’d love to visit again. Thank you!

We booked the highest spot for my boyfriend’s birthday, and it happened to snow. That caused some trouble, but the owners were so kind and helpful. The room was decorated adorably, and everything was clean, with all the amenities we needed. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I sent extra orders on LINE and they arrived right away. The owners were warm and made us feel welcome, so we were already talking about coming back on the way home. We didn’t get to try the sauna this time, so I’ll check out a few more things next visit, lol. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

The place can be a little hard to find, but the directions and attentive service helped us get there safely. The owner was great and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. There were two stoves in the tent, so it stayed warm. We followed the BBQ grill’s instructions for getting the fire going and the meat cooked just right. The private sauna is limited to 90 minutes, and you can add your own firewood. The heat can be brought back up to 100 degrees quickly even after people go in and out, so it suits anyone who likes a hot sauna. We came in midwinter and the edges of the cold bath were frozen, but the water was flowing, so it wasn’t frozen itself. That was a first for us, and we enjoyed the cold. The bathroom area was clean and had power outlets. I’d recommend the facility.
