There’s a nice local coffee shop called Coffee Gallery about a five minute walk away, and a convenience store just across from the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our modern, spacious room had a kitchenette and washing machine. It’s about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the bus terminal and shopping mall. I’d definitely recommend staying here to friends.

We brought food back to eat in the room, which worked well because the layout felt so open and clean. It’s loft-like, with bunk beds, and was actually fun for our big group. The room was spotless and new, with a deep tub, washer and dryer, and a big TV. This is a rare find among budget hotels, which can often be older, dirty, or inconvenient. The location is central, near Kumamoto station and Kumamoto castle, in a nice area. Really good value for the money.

There are bunk beds, and the room was fine apart from a stained sofa. It has a washer and spin dryer, but no heat pump. Washing with warm water helps reduce how much water stays in the clothes. The toilet has a warm air function that can help dry them. Staff replace the towels and collect the trash from the door each day.

A washer is provided in each spacious room, though there’s no dryer. There’s also a coin laundry about 200 meters away. No breakfast buffet, but you can order from a menu. There’s plenty of parking around the property, and the city centre, shops, restaurants, and Kumamoto Castle are all within a 10-15 minute walk. A nice apart-hotel.
