We stayed for six nights in October, and the garden view from our window was beautiful. The blinds were great for keeping the light out, and our Western Room had raised beds, tatami matting, and plenty of space. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding of our limited Japanese. There’s also a private bath you can reserve if you want the onsen experience but feel nervous around lots of strangers. It costs a little more than some nearby hotels, but it felt luxurious throughout and was absolutely worth it to us. My friend and I would definitely be keen to come back.

We had a nice two-night stay. The room for two was compact but just right, with everything we needed. The staff were friendly, and if you arrive in Kyushu early, they’ll try to arrange your room for you. Guests can also enjoy a free drink each evening in the hotel. I think this place is underrated.

The staff were so friendly and helpful that I’d give the service ten stars if I could. From check-in, when they offered tea and a relaxing place to sit, through checkout, they couldn’t have done more. The facilities feel luxurious, and there’s a private onsen as well as free drinks and a relaxed bar area in the evenings.

The service was thoughtful. We stayed for two nights, and they rotated the dining rooms and onsen so we could have different experiences. They even had infant setups in those spaces.
