We booked at short notice because of the typhoon, and the stay turned out to be very comfortable. We had our infant with us and were warmly welcomed. They even showed us to our room through the rain, which put us at ease. We'd be happy to stay here again on a future trip to Oita.

The owners were lovely, and the room felt cozy and had everything we needed. The two beds were separate bunks, comfortable for two people, and the toilet and bathroom were separate. Winter heating was provided, and the soft mattress, quilt, blankets, and carpets made it especially comfortable. Highly recommend it!

We were just two people, so the fixed bed downstairs and a floor mat were enough even with the loft. The table was small, though there was a simple folding desk in the closet, and the room could use more electrical outlets. I'd bring a three-pronged outlet and an extension cable. We rented a room in an apartment and were comfortable there. For food, you can eat out or bring a packed meal. Walk a little farther for a grilled seafood restaurant, or try the Lawson, which has a better prepared-food selection than the stores near my house.

For the price, I'd give it a thumbs up. It's close to the airport, and the basic amenities have been thought through carefully. They provide toothbrushes, a hairdryer, and towels. You'll be fine if you can sort out your own meals and pajamas. I could tell the owner had put care into the details.
