It's a beautiful hotel with great service and a good bathroom with plenty of space. The rooms are very tiny: there's a bed and work table, but no room for a chair. Breakfast was a lot of food, but there wasn't much variety and I didn't enjoy it.

My stay was fine, but checkout left me confused and uncomfortable. I asked the front desk to call a taxi, and another guest behind us asked for one too. When the first taxi arrived, the staff sent that guest to it ahead of us, even though we'd asked first. I hope they make the taxi queue clearer for guests.

I stopped here on my way to Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarters and had a wonderful Western-style lunch. The butter soup was delectable, and the gourmet salad came with salmon and shrimp in cream sauce, plus broccoli, eggplant, arugula, and mashed potatoes. Finished with lemon cake and coffee. Fantastic!

This historic hotel is beautiful, and the breakfast was yummy. I'd highly recommend the family room, which was so clean and spacious.

The service was great and breakfast was nice. It's an excellent hotel. My only very small complaint is that the rooms are a bit small, but it's totally okay.
