The Vale Niseko

The rooms were comfortable and the location very convenient, with a private onsen in the room that made our vacation feel special. Jonas deserves a special mention for making our company trip run smoothly, especially when we needed help at night. We'll definitely come back.

Vale niseko is ideally placed for skiing in and out. It was easy to get across to the pizza box and reach all the gates with great powder. Our group of five had a suite and a studio, and both spaces were amazingly roomy. The suite's master bedroom had a bidet in the bathroom with the tub. The parking lot had plenty of room for our car, and whenever something came up, staff helped us get what we needed. It's also a good spot for anyone who likes to go out, with nearby bars and clubs within walking distance. The staff were incredibly quick to respond to messages and very helpful with questions. They even helped us book restaurants that didn't have an online resy system. You'll want several food options in mind, and having a car let us reach nearby cities with more choices. We did have a couple of small quirks. We couldn't find enough outlets for charging our battery pack, camera batteries, phones, and laptop. In the master suite bathroom, the shower had a half glass wall to stop splashes, but water still got around the back. The temperature knobs were a little tricky too. None of that was a dealbreaker for us. I'd recommend this place in Niseko.

The restaurant and the stay itself were both great. I spent five nights at The Vale Niseko, and my room was spotless; the front desk team were welcoming and very professional. The food was delicious, and the restaurant staff made dinner feel like a treat. Getting around Hirafu was easy thanks to the hotel shuttle, which was a thoughtful convenience. The weak spot was the ski rental on the ground floor. The staff were friendly, but the equipment felt extremely old for the premium prices. It was the priciest and oldest rental gear I’ve used, so the value was poor. I’d happily stay here for the accommodation and dining, but I’d rent skis somewhere else in town.

Our kids’ favorite part might have been the big teddy bear in the lobby 🧸. The staff moved it to a new spot every day, and the kids would run down each morning to find it. Such a thoughtful little touch, and it made the stay memorable for them. We had a fantastic family visit at The Vale Niseko. The ski-in, ski-out location worked perfectly, our room was clean, and the staff were so helpful. Jazmine was great. Thanks again to the whole team!
