The shared bathrooms were fine, and the downstairs shower, tub, and sauna setup was seriously amazing. There’s also a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, and drying racks. We had a small internet issue, but rented a wifi hot spot and it was barely worth mentioning. Our host came over to try to sort it out and connected another hot spot, so extra credit for the effort. The location is excellent, just minutes from the best businesses, restaurants, and shops in Kutchan. This lodge came highly recommended, and it lived up to that.

The hosts were super helpful with tips for making the most of a ski trip. The place is very cozy and right in the main part of Kutchan, with a supermarket and a used winter gear store both within walking distance. I’ll be back!

Great for a snowboard trip. There are gear racks and drying areas at the accommodation, and 24-hour food places and convenience stores are within walking distance. The host takes good care of you too.

The host made a real effort to take care of every little thing I needed, even though they were still setting things up when I arrived. It’s about a 10 minute walk from Kutchan station. Snow and heavy gear can make that take longer, but the roads are usually cleared well, so it wasn’t a big issue. Great location and host!

We stayed in the tatami room with a framed bed upstairs. It was warm and clean, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable. The lodge has a cozy, home-like feel and reasonable prices. Kutchan station is about a 10 minute walk away, and since we had luggage, the host picked us up there. There are lots of good restaurants and bakeries within a 5 minute walk. Highly recommended for a stay in the Niseko area.
