The complimentary onsen was the highlight for me. It was well maintained, and relaxing in the soothing water with a pretty view was a lovely way to end each day. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, professional, and helpful. At check-in there was a dedicated lobby station with a wide selection of beautiful yukata for women and girls. Our spacious half-Japanese, half-western room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The amenities included complimentary bottled water, tea and coffee, and reliably fast WiFi. I especially liked the traditional bathroom layout, with separate toilet, sink, and bathing areas. The in-room yukata were comfortable and added to the authentic feel. The lobby also had a guest microwave and vending machines with drinks, snacks, and basic onsen supplies. The hotel was clean, well equipped, and had free parking and a delicious breakfast. With kind staff, comfortable rooms and family-friendly touches, it felt like excellent value. I'd recommend it to travelers looking for a comfortable Japanese hotel, and look forward to returning.

The private onsen was the best part of our stay, and the villas were spacious and comfortable. The hotel sits in a beautiful, quiet location with an onsen. We loved the amazing food, and the staff were helpful and courteous. We plan to come back as soon as we can.

Having always-hot mineral water in a real onsen on the balcony was such a delight. We stayed at Sakura Village, an annex to Centrale hotel in Kyotango, in January 2024. The newly built villa was tastefully decorated, with Japanese futons and Western-style beds. A brand-new kitchen and pantry separated the living and dining areas. The seasonal yellowtail hotpot and Osechi ryori were absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, we were there in midwinter and couldn't see any Sakura flowers.

It's a long-established hotel, well known among locals, and in my view the best in Kyotango. The onsen and scenery are great, and there are a crab buffet, kimono rentals, and much more.

I haven't stayed here, but there's a bathhouse I used to visit when I was back in my hometown. I really like the hot spring there. If you get the chance to stay, don't miss it.
