The meals were wonderful, made with fresh local fish and vegetables. This small hotel in northern Kyoto is a little far from the station, but the view from the balcony was incredibly beautiful.

This is my second time here, and it was every bit as good as my stay five years ago. I always come to Kyotango in winter for crab 🦀, but this year I managed to book the crab course in the first week of April. The crab season apparently ended at the end of March, yet it was still delicious! The inn feels intimate and private, with lovely views of the sky and sea. Sitting on the balcony and listening to the waves and wind was so soothing. Everything was very clean, even the dining room floor was sparkling, and I had to take a photo. I'll definitely be back!

We had the place to ourselves and enjoyed a luxurious stay. The room was spacious, and we were very pleased with the meals and service. Bingushi is the island in front, and the view is unbelievably beautiful.

I came for the legendary Taiza crab and was glad to have such fresh crab. The hot spring water comes from elsewhere, but the water quality was excellent. It was windy, and drafts through my room window made some noise. Still, I was satisfied with the stay overall.
