The centralized auto-air conditioner kept switching the heater on when all I wanted was ventilation, and there wasn't much I could do about it. Aside from that, I had a very pleasant stay. Being close to kyoto central station was a big help for sightseeing by public transport. From the north side of the kyoto central gate, you can see the hotel at your 2 o' clock.

We stayed three nights, and this was my favorite APA hotel of the trip. Check-in was quick and convenient, the staff were friendly and professional, and the hotel was gorgeous, remarkably clean, and beautifully decorated. It's close to the station and lots of stores, and had just about everything I could think of: a sauna, salon, gym, 24 hr convenient store, and several restaurants. I highly recommend this location!

The breakfast got boring since they only changed one or two menu items each day. Still, the room was quite big compared with other APA hotels, and they provided all the amenities I needed. The large public bath was super clean, and laundry and luggage service are available. The location is the best, just 500m from kyoto station, and the staff were really nice and helpful.

It's easy to get around from here. The hotel is close to the main Kyoto station, and after a few minutes' walk you can catch the train you need to go anywhere in kyoto. Most guests are foreigners, and the staff know enough english and are professional, though not especially warm. The room was a decent size compared with other apa hotels I've stayed at in osaka and tokyo. The main drawback was laundry. There are only 3 washer and dryer sets for the whole hotel, so I had a long wait to dry my clothes. I'd recommend it for convenience, though the hotel itself is quite basic.

It's right by Kyoto station, so getting around is easy, and the service is excellent. The place is VERY clean. Rooms are a bit small, with hardly any space for luggage, but overall it's a great place to stay.
