Koki-San was quick to reply and very helpful throughout our stay. The guest house is comfortable, well kept, and has a lovely interior and exterior, plus handy amenities like an espresso machine and a mini onsen tub. Transit is easy, with tram and subway stations within walking distance and plenty of bus stops nearby. I’d strongly recommend it for a Kyoto stay.

We spent three nights in this beautiful traditional Kyo Machiya and had such a great experience. The house was clean, roomy, stylish, and had everything we needed, including free Nespresso coffee. Our favorite part was soaking in the full-size volcanic stone bath while looking out at the garden. It looks just like the photos. Koki-San was wonderful, accommodating, and quick to answer our questions. The neighborhood is handy for getting around by public transport, and lots of eateries and restaurants are within walking distance. We’d absolutely recommend staying here.

The owner was friendly and responsive from booking through the whole stay. We got a little confused about the bedding, but once we reached out, the owner sorted it out straight away. The townhouse was clean, cozy, and well equipped, with everything intact and hot water coming through quickly. The bathroom has both a bath and shower, with good space by the mirror. I also liked the little stone steps. The subway is only a few minutes’ walk away, with trains to some major sights.

I live in Kyoto City and came here on a friend's recommendation. The staff were warm and friendly, and I’d love to stay again.
