The neighborhood is really quiet, and you can come and go whenever you like. Our room was large and clean, more like an apartment in a big house than a standard hotel room. The staff were welcoming and happy to help with questions or anything we needed. You can also use Ta-q-bin service at any nearby 7-eleven.

For the price, Fugastay is a good option. The rooms are a decent size and the staff were kind, though their English wasn’t the strongest. It’s a basic hotel, set in a slightly odd residential spot near warehouses, and there’s no laundry on site.

The rooms are nice, and the train access is convenient while the area itself stays quiet. Facilities are limited, though, with no lobby or kitchen.

It took a little effort to find the place tucked into a residential area, but it was quiet and pleasant once there. Since it was newly built, everything looked clean, though the cleaning didn’t feel very thorough. The shower’s hot water was also unreliable. I warned them that traffic would make me late for check-in, and the staff were very helpful and polite about it.

I liked the room’s decor, and it was easy to control the water temperature. There’s a natural hot spring nearby for 1000 yen, and JR Tamba station is close, which helps since buses are inconvenient. At night there’s really nothing around in the residential area. There was no drinking water, and staff weren’t available after 10 PM.
