Grand Fine Kyoto Okazaki

I was really pleasantly surprised when I opened the door. The room was huge and well equipped, and there's ample parking. It was great value for money. Try finding a room this size in Kyoto or Tokyo at this price. There's a spa bath, a big shower area, slot machine, large TV, and a fridge that dispenses drinks. This is a love hotel, so keep your expectations in check. Some of the negative reviews seem to be people complaining about small, insignificant things.

Really good deals on food and drinks, and it's close to the temples and museum. The room had a jet massage tub, lots of hair tools and products, lotion, and some sexy items too.

We stayed two nights and really enjoyed it. The location worked well for us, within walking distance of most attractions and Gion corner, and the staff were friendly. Check-in was quick. Opening the room was a surprise, it looked like a luxury studio apartment. There was a separate toilet and bathroom with a spa bath, plus good quality soap, shampoo, and bath salts. The main room had all sorts of extras, including bar vending machines, another vending machine, a poker machine, and a massager. So many little details. Highly recommend it for couples.

It was tolerable for the one night I stayed, but I wouldn't want to stay longer. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the bathroom was extremely cramped. I hadn't expected the hotel to be set up for a more exotic experience, with sex-related products in the room, a vending machine, and a slot machine. The staff who checked me in weren't especially friendly compared with staff at other hotels in Japan. The place may suit plenty of people, but know what you're booking. The pictures and reviews didn't quite prepare me for it.
